Face Shape Calculator

Prefer measurements to a photo? Enter four values using the same unit. The calculator compares ratios, so inches or centimeters both work.

Four values, one unit

Keep your head level and measure straight across each visible width. Inches or centimeters both work because the calculator compares proportions.

Measure straight across. Do not wrap the tape around the curve of your face.

How to Take the Four Measurements

Face length

Center of the visible hairline to the bottom of the chin.

Forehead width

Straight across the widest visible forehead area.

Cheekbone width

Straight across beneath the outer corners of the eyes.

Jaw width

One jaw corner to chin center, doubled; use the same method consistently.

Calculator Limitations

Hairline ambiguity, tape placement, facial asymmetry, soft tissue, and overlapping categories can change the result. The ratio rules are practical styling heuristics, not universal biological thresholds.
